Flushing Town Hall is mashing up 2 cultures on 1 stage with an open dance floor. Annette A. Aguilar and StringBeans presents Puerto Rican jazz and Masayo Ishigure and her group will present the Miyabi Koto Shamisen, a traditional Japanese music with a jazz and classical twist. Both the bands will be playing their favorite and popular sets and each band will play separately in the beginning and then the two bands will meet and jam together. The jam would be awesome and mesmerizing. The dance lessons will happen at 7:00 pm and concert at 8:00 pm. The concert is $16 and free for teens ages 13 – 19.
