From a classy arts festival to a punk rock festival that’s bound to get a little, ahem, messy, fun on the river at Treasure Island, reggae from Stephen Marley and Matisyahu, a fairy garden festival, and a whole heap of festivals with activities for the whole family, it’s going to be an eventful June in and around Columbus.
There will be the art tent with various artists and craftspeople showing off their creations. Kids will have the opportunity for hands-on art activities from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm each day. There is also a scavenger hunt and performances form youth actors from the Grass Patch Theater.
When: June 8 – 10, Friday 11:00 am to 10:30 pm, Saturday 10:00 am to 10:30 pm, Sunday 10:00 am. to 5:00 pm.
The Strength to Strength Tour sees Matisyahu and Stephen Marley collaborating. Youth, Matisyahu’s second album, was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album. Stephen Marley, the legendary Bob Marley’s second son has been combining reggae, hip-hop, and R&B styles to create his own original sound.
