Del Ray Halloween Parade         

This will be a free parade inclusive of all the activities. It will be the 22nd edition of the Annual Del Ray Halloween Parade. The event will happen on Sunday 28th October from 2:00 pm. The parade will also include an award-giving ceremony for the best-decorated home. Business, and stroller, and the best pet costume. These awarding ceremonies will be conducted who will be elected from a list of the attending dignitaries and officials. With over 7500 participants, of 2500 are children all adorned in their attractive Halloween costumes, this certainly is one of the best Halloween parades in D.C.  The starting point of the parade will be Mt. Vernon Avenue, South of E Bellefonte. The Procession will head down to the Mt. Vernon Recreation Center play fields at Mt. Vernon and Commonwealth Avenues.

The Annual Vienna Halloween Parade

The Vienna Halloween Parade will be taking place on the 24th of October in the Town of Vienna from 7:00 pm. To recognize the parade winners, there will be a Halloween Parade Award Ceremony. The winners will be drawn from the adult performer, the youth band, the adult band, float without music, float with music, and the antique vehicle. Participation to this parade will be free with no requirement for registration. The meeting point is the parking lot at United Bank, 374 Maple Avenue E.

Kiwanis and Halloween Leesburg Parade

The 62nd edition of Leesburg Halloween Parade will be one of the biggest events in Washington DC. The event will be sponsored by the Leesburg Kiwanis Club. The parade will kick off on 31st October along the King Street. There will be great entertainment with free candy for those who will be near Loudoun Street. Multitudes of people ranging from 10000 to 15000 are expected in Safeway and North of the Market Street. The parade will feature performances from highly embellished high school bands, rescue units, classic cars, police, decorated floats, and fire. All are welcome!

Halloween Happyfest Parade

Taking place on Sunday, 28th October 2018, the Halloween Happyfest Halloween Parade is always something to watch out for as it attracts throngs of people from far and wide. The parade will be happening from 2:00 pm and is to be hosted by Warrenton Health, Parks and Recreation and the Town of Warrenton. Bring over the kids and the pets all decorated in their favorite Halloween costumes in Old Town Warrenton starting from 1:45 pm.

Annual Mummers’ Parade      

The 93rd Annual Mummers’ Parade will be one of the biggest events in Washington DC come 27th October 2018. Since the Halloween of 1921 Annual Alsatia Mummer’s Parade has been dutifully held in Washington attracting huge crowds of participants every time they get held. This years’ celebration will be no different as tens of thousands of cheering and happy crowds are expected to turn up and celebrate the event. In attendance will be high school marching bands, local organizations, and local clubs and costumed mummers. High Heel Drag Queen Race Washington D.C

Each Tuesday before the Halloween throngs of spectators and participants usually congregate in the evenings starting from 6:00 pm for the annual DC High Heel Drag Queen Drag Queen Race. The event usually witnesses spectators in thousands and tens of thousands as drag queens in their attractive costumes take part in a race along the 17th Street as they showcase their intricate outfits in a most fashionable manner. This year, the parade will be happening on Tuesday, the 30th of October from 9:00 pm.

DC Halloween Parade and Festival

This parade will be hosted by Bridges Entertainment Inc, at the Festival Grounds RKF Stadium on Wednesday 31st October 2018 to Thursday, 1st November. There will be great fun and entertainment for the whole family. Entry will be free.

Boo at the Zoo

Boo at the Zoo is one of the best Halloween experiences in Washington D.C. It is mostly a non-scary parade where children can attend. The parade will be happening on Friday, October 19th from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. Participation is always free for kids below the age of 2 years. Night of the Living Zoo    


This will be a parade and party like no other where amazing oddities will be taking place at Annual Night of the Living Zoo Halloween party. The parade will be taking place on the 26th October 2018 from 7:00 pm to 10:30 pm at the Smithsonian’s National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute. The parade will witness an assemblage of congregants sporting their Halloween Costumes as they mimic ghouls and goblins. The event will be hosted courtesy of the Friends of the National Zoo. Nightmare on M Street

On Saturday, 27th October 2018 the 19th edition of the Nightmare on M Street will be hosted by Lindy Promotions. This will be the biggest and the illest D.C’s Halloween Bar Crawl. The fun will be horrifying and terrific as thousands upon thousands will be turning up at Dupont Circle for the free parade. The best bars and taverns in Dupont Circle will be witnessing will be witnessing characters adorned in witches, warlocks, and zombielike attires. The parade will be starting from 2:00 pm all the way to 8:00 pm and will be featuring costume contests, great drink specials, and festive beads among many other activities. Silver Spring Zombie Walk

This annual Halloween Parade takes place at various places all over Silver Spring, Maryland. Because of its huge popularity, the Zombie Walk became the Zombie Night. This event draws multitudes of people all around Maryland to adorn their zombie looks in an exciting like no other. To make it more exciting, the walk is based on various scenes from zombie movies. Furthermore, matters become more exciting as live music performances are made for zombies to dance to.
