About: Goddard Riverside at Lincoln Square Neighborhood Center serves young people ages 5-12 with activities that foster a love of learning and encourage positive peer relationships. The program partners with Lincoln Center and other local arts organizations, making use of the area’s resources including the nearby American Museum of Natural History and Central Park.
These are the various camps available:
Bernie Wohl Center serves children who will enter first grade through fifth grade (10 years old) this fall. It is a traditional summer camp with a focus on chess, storytelling, and computer science. Register Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm, call 212-799-9400 for appointment.
Performing Arts Summer Day Camp serves ages 8-14. The camp introduces and cultivates the love of the performing arts through the disciplines of dance, vocals, music, and theater arts. Campers of any skill level with a desire to experience performing arts are welcome. Taught by NYC based professional dance artists, world-renowned musicians, actors, and theater directors the camp usually costs $3000 but scholarships are available.
Beacon Summer Camp serves students who will enter the fourth through tenth grade this fall. It is a traditional summer day camp with a focus on STEM, Visual Arts, Recreation, and Youth Advisory. Families can register Monday – Friday from 1 – 5 pm at 154 West 93rd Street (Basement Office B2). Registration forms may also be downloaded from their web page and the complete packet emailed to Beacon@goddard.org.
