Topsfield Strawberry Festival

Summer begins in Topsfield! Enjoy the Strawberry Festival held at the Topsfield Town Common, Topsfield, Massachusetts on Saturday, June 9, 2018 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

The Topsfield Strawberry festival sponsored by the Topsfield Historical Society is sure to entertain and engage visitors of all ages. There will bowls and bowls of fresh strawberries, whipped cream and piles of shortcakes are prepared and served by volunteer members. The festival offers Family Fun for everyone with great food and music. The festival will also feature Children’s Games, strawberry shortcake, Capen House Tours, Over 60 Fine Artisans, Art, Glass art, Pottery, Jewelry, Clothing, Woodwork and more. The antique and classic car show will be displaying a large collection of antique and classic cars at the church lawn. Free Admission and plenty of free parking, so why wait, come and be a part of this festival!

Astronomy After Hours

Astronomy After Hours will be taking place at the Museum of Science, 1 Science Park, Boston, Massachusetts on Friday, June 8, 2018 from 8:30 pm to 10:00 pm

Astronomy After Hours is an free event offered by the Museum, families can make the most of this event, as they can spend the evening with full of astronomy-themed fun. Families will have to gather at the Gilliland Observatory on the roof of the Museum’s parking garage, and if the sky is clear, little ones will get the opportunity to view stars, planets, the Moon, and other astronomical phenomena. If it’s cloudy, the event will take place inside the observatory, and kids can participate in astronomy-related activities run. This event is ideal for kids of the age 4 and up, and the entry is free.
