Welcome Baby! Brunch: Babywearing 101

Families are welcome to join the brunch, come and toast to the health with other families with a fresh custom smoothie bar, granola bar, and bagel brunch. Meet other local families, learn about baby wearing and get hands on help with a Babywearing International educator. Make a custom baby hand print or footprint on mini canvas to take home. The event is suitable for families with babies 0-1 yrs.

Honor, Courage, Commitment

Steer your course for the USS Constitution Museum and honor the men and women who served and continue to serve in our Nation’s military. Experience the everyday struggles of those who served in 1812, then join a current Navy sailor for a tour of USS Constitution. Throughout the weekend, the Museum will be partnering with Operation Gratitude to create and send paracord “survival” bracelets to deployed troops overseas and first responders in the United States. Don’t have time to make a bracelet? Consider writing a thank you letter. Admission to the Museum is free throughout the weekend for all active duty, retired, and reserve military personnel.

Honor, Courage, Commitment will be taking place at USS Constitution Museum, Building 22 Charlestown Navy Yard, Charlestown, MA 02129 on Saturday, November 11th, 2017 and Sunday, November 12th, 2017 from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Mini Maker Faire

Calling all tech enthusiasts, tinkerers, hobbyists, engineers, science club members, authors, artists, students, entrepreneurs, crafter, and makers of any kind to join the 3rd Annual Mini Maker Faire. Little ones will love to be a part of this awe-inspiring event that is sure to keep them entertained and engaged the whole day. Maker Media, creators of Maker Faire, hosts an all-ages celebration of the maker movement all weekend, participants can learn from each other, hear from experts, and work on projects together. On Saturday, the event will feature Don Norris, Tiny Circuits, Maker Health and Monica Tesler and Rob Vlock (STEM authors). On Sunday the event will feature Braden and Shelli Making Scents, Society of Women Engineers, Kano coding computer kit Demo and more.

The 3rd Annual Mini Maker Faire hosted by Barnes and Noble at The Prudential Center, 800 Boylston Street, Suite 179, Boston, MA 02199 will be taking place on Saturday, November 11th, 2017 at 9:00 am and Sunday, November 12th, 2017 at 5:00 pm.
