Ever wanted to sing a holiday classic on stage in front of an audience? Now is the chance, grab the opportunity. They are looking for kids ages 3-12 to sing at the Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer Musical at the Shubert Theater. Ten children will be selected at random and each will receive 4 tickets to the December 15th, 7:00 pm performance of “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Musical” and the opportunity to perform before the audience at that performance. Entries open on Thursday, November 9th, 2017 at 8:00 am and the deadline to enter will be Monday, November 27th at 11:59 pm. The 10 selected children will be notified by Friday, December 1st, 2017.

Verizon Innovative Learning is giving kids the opportunity to explore technology and learn new skills through hands-on, experiential technology workshops. Designed to foster greater student interest in STEM subjects, workshops expose students to topics like virtual reality, 3D design and printing, robotics, coding and more. In the Virtual Reality lab, kids will get to travel around the world without leaving their seats. Each participant will also create their own 360° experience! All participants will get take home their very own VR headset device so they can continue to explore the world of virtual reality at home. The event is suitable for kids ages 8-12.

America’s Hometown Thanksgiving Celebration offers a weekend of festivities. These festivities have become a beloved holiday occasion; thousands of people from all walks of life have traveled to the historic Plymouth Harbor and Waterfront to experience a bounty of authentic Americana. The opening ceremony featuring a variety of top-quality entertainment. The parade will bring to life America’s rich heritage, it features beautifully decorated floats, drum and fife, pipe, drum and bugle corps, and military bands play music honoring the courageous men and women who serve in the Army, the Navy, the Marines, the Air Force and the Coast Guard. The celebration of Thanksgiving becomes history-brought-to-life as Pilgrims, Native Americans, Soldiers, Patriots, and Pioneers proudly climb out of the history books and onto the streets of Plymouth. Free and open to all.
