Ai Weiwei: Good Fences Make Good Neighbors will take place throughout the Citywide, New York until February 11, 2018 at various times.
This event takes its motivation from the international migration crisis and tense sociopolitical battles adjoining the issue in the United States and worldwide, worldwide celebrated artist Ai Weiwei has conceived of this ambitious, multi-site project for the Public Art Fund as a technique of turning the metal wire security fence into a strong artist icon. The guests who attend the exhibition will find that Ai’s “good fences” are not impassable barriers but prevailing, immersive, and resonant additions to the fabric of the city. Kids of all ages are welcome to attend this exhibition. The entry to this event is free.
