Dana Point Festival of Whales is a fest like none other at the
When: Saturday, March 2, 2019, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The Festival of Whales celebrates migrating whales that use Dana Point’s headland as a landmark on their journey southward so come along with your little ones and check them out. Festivities over two weekends include whale watching, a street fair, a parade, an art show, and more for kids. The festival will also include a Mobile Marine Mammal Museum, a cardboard Dingy Dash, the Ocean Institute-Ocean Education Center, and a rubber ducky race. Kids can take boat rides and SUP lessons, participate in sand sculpting, and watch movies under the stars. Bands perform on the water on a specially designed stage for the Concert on the Water.
