Hidden Chicago Kid’s Friendly Fountains

Fountains could be super fun in summer, especially when you are a kid and have no other thing to do then just play all day with your friends. Chicago has so many fountains, but not all of them could be fun for kids. Here is a list of 10 fountains that you should consider taking your kids to:

Crown Fountains

Crown Fountains is, by far, the most popular fountain in Chicago. It was built in 2004 in Chicago’s Millennium Park and ever since is one of the most popular touristic attraction in the state. What sets apart this fountain from the rest of the fountains is that it is not only a piece of public art, but it is also great for entertainment as it includes physical interaction between the visitors and the water. By using elements such as water, light and glass this innovative fountain displays video images of faces of 1000 different Chicago citizens with open mouths from which the water flows out – something which could be extremely amusing for the kids while they are playing with the water.
