Silent disco is the dance party you never knew you always wanted! This all-ages, family friendly event is taking place at the Winter Market at Boston’s City Hall Plaza, where you can shop for handmade products, eat locally-made foods, enjoy a hot (or boozy) drink, and skate on an icy pathway. With silent disco, you will find yourself laughing and singing while you dance to the live DJs in virtual silence wearing our LED-lit wireless headsets. These headsets will work throughout the venue. You can adjust your own volume and choose between 3 types of music on your headsets. Electronic will play on the blue channel, while mash-ups play on red, and top hits 60s-2000s play on the green. For a festive Christmas Day celebration, Taj Boston is offering guests a lavish Christmas buffet in The Grand Ballroom. This can be the perfect location for a holiday celebration with friends and family overlooking the Public Garden. The holiday spirit will be in the air with a live music playing new and old favorites. The talented culinary team has created an expansive buffet featuring something for every palate. Holiday specials include roast turkey and beef tenderloin carving stations, served with appropriate accompaniments as well as a variety of soups and salads, raw bar display, cheese and charcuterie, and more. For dessert, enjoy our chef’s selection of holiday sweets. The buffet will cost $125 for adults, $55 for children and free for children 3 and under.

Build holiday memories every weekend in December, each weekend has a theme, this weekend the theme is Blue Man Group. The Holiday Brictacular will feature letters to the Master Model Builder, Holiday Build Challenges, little ones can test their building skills to create a LEGO gingerbread house, snap selfies with the supercharged sleigh built entirely with LEGO bricks, Scavenger Hunt, master Builder Academy will have Mosaic workshops (based on the themed weekend). Kids of all ages can enjoy here, the fee ranges from $18.50 – $29.95 and free for children of the age 2 and under.
