Take off your shoes, and step into an authentic silk merchant’s home from Kyoto, Japan.  Experience Japanese family life, customs, ceremonies, art, architecture and seasonal events in this 100-year-old house. During the busy days, they will have the guided tours of the Japanese House to accommodate the crowds. O-mikuji is a method of fortune telling found in shrines and temples in Japan. O-mikuji comes in the form of paper slips, which contain predictions of one’s general fortune, health, love, business, finance, relationships, etc. Sometimes Japanese people use o-mikuji to find out what to look for and what to avoid in the future, or simply test one’s luck. Results of o-mikuji fortunes usually come in several levels. In the Japanese, House shakes the omikuji box, pull out the fortune stick and find out your little one’s fortune for 2018.Free with museum admission, admission will cost $ 16 for adults, $16 for children (1-15) and free for children (Under 12 months) and members.
