Boston Festival of Indie Games

The Boston Festival of Indie Games celebrates independent game development in New England and beyond. The game creates an inclusive environment for everybody who enjoys and appreciates games in whatever shape or form. This festival supports and showcases the efforts of independent game developers, as well as youth programs focused on game development. Attendees at this festival can participate and play games in different formats: video games, location-based games, tabletop games and more. The games featured here are innovative and refreshing, demonstrating both the budding and the established talent of game makers from all over the world. Bring your kids here and let them try their hands on some of the latest and innovative games. Tickets will cost $15 for general admission (13+), $12 for group admission (4 pack) and free for children 12 and under.

Boston Festival of Indie Games is schedule to take place at Johnson Athletics Center, 77 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge, MA 02139 on Saturday, September 23rd, 2017 from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Gore Place Fall Festival

Families are welcome to this wonderful fall festival, a celebration of the season at the Gore Farm with live music, games, puppet shows and the amazing pumpkin drop! Magic Hummus, Faddy’s Donuts and Ice Cream, Farmer Scott’s Roast Corn, Snowy Joey and Boy Scouts Troop 250 will be available at the venue to satisfy those sophisticated palates. Enjoy live music from Damn Tall Buildings, Copley Street, Outrageous Fortune, and Beantown Buckaroos. Lindsay and Her Puppet Pals and Mudeye Puppets will also perform; kids will get the opportunity to learn to make a giant puppet out of recycled materials with Mudeye Puppets. Families will love to play games like box hockey, bean-bag toss, giant jenga, giant croquet and more on the lawn. There will be demonstrations with On the Mark Archery and a self-guided tour. Visitors can enjoy a craft brew and listen to a variety of local bands perform on three stages. Tickets will cost $ 10 for general admission (13+) and free for members and children 12 and under.

The 4th annual Gore Place Fall Festival is scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 23rd, 2017 from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Gore Place, 52 Gore Street, Waltham, MA.


Babel: Mind reading LIVE show

Christopher Grace, a professional mind reader and mentalist, presents “Babel,” an intimate evening of mind reading. A limited audience of 50 people will witness some of the most confounding and amazing demonstrations of apparent psychic ability. Christopher Grace performs inexplicable demonstrations of super memory, rapid math calculations and impossible feats of mind reading. Guests are invited to participate in the performance and witness direct, in their own head, mind reading. Christopher Grace is a high-demand mind reader and entertainer across the country. Dress code is strictly enforced with suits and ties for gentlemen and cocktail attire for women. For ages 16+, tickets will cost $37.50.

Fall Family Fun Weekend

Come join us and celebrate the best of fall in the Berkshires with a lot of interactive and fun family friendly activities. Activities include specialty fall crafts, hay rides, high and low ropes, and cozy campfires with s’mores. Amesbury Harvest Fair and Country Music Festival

Families are invited to enjoy three days and evenings of concerts in the Amesbury Sports Park featuring musicians like The Charlie Daniels Band, Travis Tritt, Craig Morgan, The SteelDrivers Morgan Myles, Mo Pitney, Radney Foster, Tara Thompson, Rodney Crowell, Rick Shea, EJ Ouellette and many more. While you are there, enjoy the specialized craft vendors and try a wide variety of Gourmet Food offered while listening and dancing to the incredible artists. Kids will not be left out there will be an artist Corner, family games and activities, and even a Pie Baking Contest.
