National Novel Writing Month

Have you ever dreamed of writing the next Great American Novel? Maybe you have an unfinished manuscript lying in some drawer, or you look at J.K. Rowling and think “I could do that”? November is National Novel Writing Month and the Idea Foundry is hosting its first ever writer’s meet-up. The aim is to write 1677 words a day for 30 days and then have a full novel under your belt by December 1st. Starting November 1st, you’ll meet twice a week (Wednesdays 6pm-9pm and Saturdays 12 pm – 3 pm) and get it done together at the Idea Foundry. All levels of writers (beginners to experienced, poets to graphic novelists) are welcome. This meetup is to help create a group of people who find it hard in their day-to-day lives to find the time or motivation to pursue their passion. You’ll support, inspire, cajole and critique together in a space where it’s just about you and the next word on the page.

Saturday, November 11th, 2017 at 12:00 pm at Columbus Idea Foundry, 421 W State St, Columbus.
