Dickens is a free annual event produced by the City of Plano. Nestled in the heart of the Downtown Plano Arts District, Dickens is the holiday event of the year. Try out the snow tubing hill and carriage rides. There will be three stages with live music and visits with Santa. Watch the ice fights as two professional ice sculptors compete by carving a block of ice with chainsaws in a timed race. Food vendors are on-site to offer an assortment of tasty treats, including hot drinks, beer and wine, kettle corn, smoked turkey legs, fried fish and shrimp, funnel cakes, and more. Many downtown businesses will extend their hours for this annual event and invite you to browse for the perfect holiday gifts for everyone on your “nice” list. Families and leashed dogs are welcome! The event is located in Haggard Park, McCall Plaza and on a limited section of 15th Street in Downtown Plano. Free parking is available at the Plano Municipal Center (1520 K Avenue) and public lots off 14th Street. This event is free to attend.
Friday, December 1st, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Haggard Park in downtown Plano, 901 E. 15th St, Plano.
