On Thanksgiving morning join the third annual Downtown Denton Turkey Trot Run/Walk and Kid’s Gobble Wobble presented by Point Bank. The fun family-friendly 5K route will go through the Texas Woman’s University campus and around the historic Denton square. Proceeds will benefit the Denton Community Food Center. Keep your family and charity right here in Denton this Thanksgiving. The Kid’s Gobble Wobble is an untimed fun run/walk from the start line, around the square, and back to the finish. The kids’ event is $10.00 with a shirt and free without (sign up at registration on race day if no shirt). Registration is $20.00 for adults for the 5K.

Start Thanksgiving off on the right turkey leg and join the Turkeys Trot 5K & 10K walk/run! Before you eat your big meal get a little exercise with a few of your closest friends and neighbors. The 5K and 10K start and finish by the Keller City Hall Building. This is a loop course that runs on Bear Creek Parkway and the Keller Trail system. There will be food and entertainment when you finish. Compete in the turkey costume contest for a chance to win a year of free 2017 Dallas Athletes Racing event registrations. This is an event the whole family can enjoy and help others in the community. Please bring 2-3 non-perishable items race day to be donated to the Community Storehouse. Registration starts at $22.00.

This is the perfect opportunity to learn more about these majestic birds, of which you probably just ate the day before. This event is $5.00 with paid admission, and is free for members.
