Home for the Holidays 5K

You’ve already experienced the Cupcake virtual 5K, and now it’s time to head home for the holidays! If you’re ready for another virtual jogging 5K then strap on your sneakers and complete this 5K anytime in December. Virtual runs are great because experienced runners won’t have to vie for position, and beginners won’t have to worry about people watching them! Registration is $17.00 per person, which includes your medal, bib and shipping. For participating in this event you will get a fun Home for the Holidays 5K  finishers medal! Christmas in the Park 2017

Travel through Christmas pasts on a festive hayride (weather-permitting) and explore holiday customs and decorations from 1830s to the 1930s. The 1860s Ryon Prairie Home will be offering wassail and Christmas treat samples and Santa Claus will lead story time in the Treehouse at 11:00 am, 1:00 pm, and 3:00 pm. This year, Christmas in the Park happens on all the Saturdays leading up to Christmas, plus most days the week before Christmas. Tickets are $10.00 per person; $5.00 for ages 5 to 15; $9.00 for ages 62 and up; and free for ages 4 and under.
