LA Fleet Week 2019

LA Fleet Week 2019 will be taking place from

Friday, August 30, 2019, to Monday, September 2, 2019, at

Port of Los Angeles World Cruise Center, 100 Swinford Street, San Pedro, CA 90731. 

The mission of LA Fleet Week Foundation is to plan, promote, honour and financially support Los Angeles Fleet Week, an annual celebration honouring the United States Sea Services and the men and women who presently serve or have served in the armed forces. Fleet Week is an annual, multi-day celebration of our nation’s Sea Services held on the LA Waterfront at the Port of Los Angeles over the Labor Day Weekend. Free to the public, the event features public ship tours, military displays and equipment demonstrations, live entertainment, a kids’ STEM Expo, aircraft flyovers, a 100 Years of Navy in Hollywood Film Festival, the 10th Annual Conquer the Bridge Labor Day morning 5.3-mile walk/run over the Vincent Thomas Bridge, A Fleet Week 5 on 5 Basketball Tournament, and a Galley Wars culinary cook-off competition between Sailor, Marine and Coastguard teams the highlights include, Battleship Blast High School Robotics Competition, Aerial Demonstrations, Live Music on the Bob Hope USO Delta Air Lines Main Stage, Navy Band Southwest, STEM Expo Village, Indoor Expo Hall, Conquer the Bridge Victory Breakfast, Culinary Competition and more.  All must have U.S. government-issued identification ID card) to enter event pavilions or ship tours. Those who have registered for ship tours must have both their ID and confirmation to board. Tickets are not required to attend LA Fleet Week, it’s free.  Battleship IOWA tours will be charged but will be offered at a special discount rate of $10 per person during LA Fleet Week over labour weekend. Friday, August 30, 2019, is specially dedicated to those who have served in our armed forces. However, veterans are welcome to tour active ships throughout the weekend for free. Online reservations are highly recommended. There will be a standby line for those who do not have reservations.
