The 35th Anniversary California Strawberry Festival in Oxnard is the perfect summer kickoff with proceeds benefiting the community in a big way. Enjoy a variety of lip-smacking favorites like strawberry nachos, strawberry pizza, strawberry funnel cake, strawberry chimichangas, chocolate dipped strawberries, deep-fried strawberries, strawberry shortcake, strawberry beer and more. A multitude of engaging activities let you enjoy the celebration, Contests includes Berry Best Hat Contest, Berry Best Dressed Baby Contest, Strawberry Tart Toss, Berry Blast Off Recipe Contest, Strawberry Shortcake Eating. There will be musical Entertainment and Build Your Own Strawberry Shortcake. At the Strawberryland, Kids reign supreme in this magical oasis with everything desired for the young at heart. From rides and attractions to face painting, special appearances, convenient baby assistance services, and more. Kids can enjoy non-stop live performances throughout the day under the tented big top with puppet and magic shows, interactive and educational live animal experience. Kids will enjoy a variety of fun carnival rides like the Silver Streak, Go Gator, Sky Fighter, Truckin, Berry Kids Inflatable Rides. Andrew Lloyd Webber, the man who brought rock and romance to Broadway, is back with a new heart-stirring hit. School Of Rock is based on the hit film, this hilarious new musical follows Dewey Finn, a failed, wannabe rock star posing as a substitute teacher who turns a class of straight-A students into a guitar-shredding, bass-slapping, mind-blowing rock band. This high-octane smash features 14 new songs from Andrew Lloyd Webber, all the original songs from the movie and musical theater’s first-ever kids rock band playing their instruments live on stage. The show runs for 2 hours and 15 minutes (Including Intermission). The show is recommended for kids ages 8 and Up, children under 5 will not be admitted to the theatre. All patrons must have a ticket. Ticket price starts at $35.
