The Secret of Kells

The Secret of Kells is indeed a heart-warming Oscar-nominated animated film that takes place in medieval Ireland based on a Viking invasion. A young boy, Brendan, lands into a quest when a master illuminator turns up and seeks for his help with a book filled with secret superpowers. Preceding the screening, which kicks off at 11:30 am, members of Darrah Carr Dance will entertain your kids with a fun, interactive Irish dance demonstration. This event is recommended for kids of the age 9 and up. Tickets cost $15 for adults, $11 for seniors and students, $7 for the youth of the age 3–17 and free for children under 3 and museum members.

This event will take place at the Museum of the Moving Image, 36-01 35 Avenue, Astoria, New York 11106 on Saturday, December 9th, 2017 at 11:00 am.
