The Philadelphia Honey Festival is a three day festival from September 7th – 9th. It attracts thousands of visitors every year to the multiple venues. The key features of the honey fest are beekeeping demos, speakers, brewing sessions, honey extraction, cooking demos, children’s activities and vendors with plenty of sweet take-homes. This event is free to attend. It is full of fun and educational activities. On Friday, September 7th from 5 PM – 9 PM, the event will take place at Glen Foerd on Delaware (5001 Grant Ave. & Milnor St., Philadelphia 19114). Some of the events will be Lawn games, Open hive talk, Bee Beard, Vendor marketplace, etc. On Saturday, September 8th from 10 AM – 4 PM, the event will take place at Wyck Historic House & Garden (6026 Germantown Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19144). Some of the activities will be admission to Tom Wyck House, games, Vendor marketplace, kid’s educational activities, food trucks, etc. On Sunday, September 9th from 10 AM – 4 PM, the event will take place at Bartram’s Garden (54th St & Lindbergh Blvd., Philadelphia, PA 19143). Some of the activities will be a plant sale, Library “Book Bike”, kids’ yoga, and stories, children carnival, Gift shop and a free tour, food trucks, Vendor marketplace, etc.
