Rotunda Dance Series: Carnaval San Francisco with Fogo Na Roupa

The “Rotunda Dance Series” features dance performances in San Francisco City Hall’s extraordinary rotunda! Set amidst the grandeur of San Francisco City Hall’s Rotunda, these free lunchtime presentations bring dance forms from across the globe to this magnificent venue. All performances are free and start at noon. Carnaval San Francisco with Fogo Na Roupa Performing Company and Now in its fourth decade of celebration and under the guiding principle that music, dance, and art have the power to heal and unite people, Carnaval San Francisco continues to cultivate and celebrate the vibrantly diverse Latin American and Caribbean roots of the Mission District and the greater San Francisco Bay Area. Fogo Na Roupa, an award-winning, Brazilian Carnaval dance and percussion company will bring their unstoppable energy, vibrant rhythms, and infectious dance moves to the Rotunda to give audiences a taste of what is in store during the 40th Annual Carnaval San Francisco.
