Friday, November 16th, 2018 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at City Hope SF, 45 Olive Street, San Francisco
This unique film festival that focuses on cities and civic engagement is going to be a inspiring way to listen to some great storytelling. Your journey begins with “Hotel 22”, a short film about bus line 22, a frequent destination for the homeless population of Silicon Valley. After that, you’re transported to “Snow Mountain” where a mother and her son dream of a better life while they spend the night camping. The film “Crisanto Street” is unique in that it’s told from the point of view of a child and shot with a handycam that provides a hopeful look into the joyful life of young Geovany and his family. These films, among others, will move you, inspire you, and give you insight into the filmmaking process. This event is free to attend but an RSVP is required.
