Happening at the National Air and Space Museum, “Discover the Moon Day” will be a special day full of fun and plenty of exciting family-friendly activities the will be held at the National Air and Space Museum, 6th Street and Independence Avenue, SW Washington. In commemoration of Apollo 11’s epic lunar journey, visitors will enjoy one-on-one educative interaction with museum scientists, enjoy a 3-D view of the moon, and view high-resolution images from the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter, among many other activities. This event will be held on Friday the 19th of July from 10:00 am. The event is recommended for people of all ages.
