Celebrate the Lunar New Year at The Huntington as the Year of the Pig begins. Festivities include lion dancers, mask-changing performances, martial arts, Chinese music and dance, and more! The festival features: Martial Arts, Lion Dancers by Northern Shaolin Kung Fu, Mask-Changer (Bian Lian) by Mr. Wei Qi Zhong, Dance & Music by Zhejiang Conservatory of Music, Tai Chi, including Sword, Spear, and Fan with Guo-Jie Tai Chi Academy, Music by UCLA Music of China Ensemble, Brush-Painting with Ms. Peifang Liang, Penjing and Viewing Stone Display by Southern Breeze Tree & Stone Society, Chinese Floral Arts Demonstrations, Arts and Crafts Activities at North Vista Family Activity Zone (for all ages), Calligraphy Demonstrations with Mr. Q. Tang, Huntington Store Book Signings by Jennifer Wood, the illustrator. Chinese New Year Festival Photo Experience: Create a photo keepsake! Pose with lion dancers and martial artists at our Insta-Print photo booth. It costs $ 15 set includes two 4×6 photos and digital download.
