The Andersonville Midsommarfest is known as a legendary street festival! After 53 years, the Swedish-inspired festival is still going. The three days it lasts are filled with activities for both parents and children. There is great international food, vendors and artisans, and live entertainment. Children will love the pet parade and having their faces painted!

This event has existed since 1985, even though its name changed and it has undoubtedly grew over the years! The Printers Row Lit Fest is a celebration of books. Every year it attracts over 200 booksellers and 125,000 book lovers, and features over 100 free literary programs on its 7 stages. There are new, used, and antiquarian books. Your children will have a blast at the Lil’ Lit Park with storytelling, performances, sing-alongs, costumed characters, and other activities.
