This old fashioned taffy pull is fun for kids of all ages! Drop in as you go in awe as Sweet Pete’s confectioners pull a sugar mixture into taffy. Your little pastry chef will get the chance to pull, cut, and wrap taffy. The class runs approximately for 45 minutes. Do confirm in for class with the restaurant hostesses. You get to make candy at the Candy Bar if you pay. This class is suitable for children under the age of 15 and they must be accompanied by a paid adult. This class includes voucher for 1 single scoop yummy ice cream sundae. Kids of the age 5 and up are welcome. The class will cost $15.

Teach your kids that one man’s trash is another man’s treasure! Come with your kids to Pretend City as they engineer their own recycling machines. This is a great opportunity for tour kids to work together with peers and adults to design an “invention” that transports a plastic bottle into the recycling machine, using different tubes, pulleys, pendulums, and zip-lines. You can learn a lot from Trash for Teaching so that the next time you are about to discard an item as trash you will be reminded of how it could be re-imagined into. Take a tour of the Pretend City “Go Green” Pinterest Board for re-imagining which inspires everyone. Kids of all ages are welcome. The fee for children over 12 months is $12.50, adults is $12.50, military members is $9.50 and free for members and infants up to 12 months.
