This fanciful neighbor of Navy Pier’s Ferris wheel embodies its golden age of the 1920s. The 36 Beautifully hand-painted horses, fantastic frogs and gorgeous chariots are just a few of the characters featured at the carousel that the kids can pick to hop on.
The animals at the carousel are meant to represent different merry-go-round styles throughout the history.
The other worth mentioning thing is the hand-painted scenes of the Pier’s history on the rounding boards, which looks simply beautiful. While grown-ups enjoy the historic paintings, the kids are just happy to take a spin on their favorite animals.
The cost per ride is $6, but kids under 42″ must be accompanied by an adult.
