From yoga with pygmy goats to a cattle drive, trail riding on horseback, butterfly releases, concerts, high teas, and brunches Dallas is all over Mother’s Day. Make it one to remember with some of our suggestions.
The Dallas Zoo is the largest in the state of Texas and well worth a visit with mom. There is plenty for everyone in the family to see, and a chance to get involved in interactive sessions like the giraffe feeding, the koala walkabout, the cheetah encounter, and lots more. Younger kids will enjoy their excursion with mum or gran as they will be active – no fidgeting at brunch tables! They will, however, be glad to stop for lunch at the Prime Meridien Café with its ample seating, picturesque outdoor deck, and view over the flamingo pools after all the walking.
When: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm daily.
