Lincoln Park Zoo is one zoo of very few that still offer free admission in the United States. This zoo is approximately 35 acres large, and features over 1,000 animals of 200 different species. Lincoln Park Zoo was founded in 1868 which makes it one of the oldest zoos, not only in the United States, but in North America altogether.
