#5 – San Antonio Zoo
The San Antonio Zoo provides an all-day wildlife experience suitable for all ages. Come visit over 750 species of mammals, reptiles, birds, and amphibians. Children absolutely love riding the tour train around the zoo, playing in the butterfly garden, and talking with the talented parrots! There’s a lot of walking to do at this zoo, which also means that there is also a lot to see here as well. An adult ticket will cost $21.99, and a children’s ticket costs $18.99. For information about this zoo and the events they have coming up, visit their website online at sazoo.org.

#6 – Dallas Zoological Society
This is a non-profit organization—as part of the Dallas Zoo—that allows guests to experience an up close and exciting view of the animals in their habitats. This is a really great place to take your family for a nice outing, or just as a relaxing afternoon activity as well. It’s a popular trend by the guests who visit here to feed and pet the animals, and the animals love the attention.
