San Francisco Zoo
The San Francisco Zoo was founded in 1929 and is home to more than 2,000 animals of a variety of many species. This zoo is made up of 100 acres of gorgeous gardens that you can enjoy walking through all day long. Admission for adults is $20.00, $17.00 for senior citizens, $14.00 for children, and children three years and younger get in for free. Parking on weekdays is $10.00; $12.00 on weekends and holidays.

Penguin Island at the San Francisco Zoo
Penguin Island is an extremely popular exhibit at the San Francisco zoo that was built back in the 1930’s and renovated in 1984. These penguins are very social and have diverse personalities of their own; you will enjoy observing them in their habitat.
